Revamped Source Compare
Utility in N2O V3.4.2

by Paul Linn

The N2O Source Compare Utility has been enhanced to provide the ability to compare either one or two ranges with the use of wildcards, or entire libraries of NATURAL objects on the FUSER file. Additionally, double ranges allow the passing over of specific positions of object names for the purpose of object name synchronization.

Major statistical improvements have been added to the N2O Source Compare Utility as well, including:

ABOVE: A display of all of the information provided by the NATURAL LIST DIRECTORY command for each pair of Objects compared.

ABOVE: A display of the Archive Date, Archive Time, Archive Event, Archive Event Sequence, and the Original Environment for each pair of Objects compared.

ABOVE: A display of range statistics, including the total number of identical, changed, and total unique NATURAL objects (broken down by object type) compared for the range of objects; and the cumulative number of NATURAL source, comment, and total lines compared for the range of objects.

The enhanced N2O Source Compare Utility is included in N2O V3.4.2.
