TSI's Presence in Europe is Growing

by Amber Ray

It is very important for TSI to have a positive image of its company and products portrayed around the world. That is why we decided long ago to enter the worldwide market by working with honest, cooperative, and hard working affiliates, who would share our ethics and be competent in sales and support.

With the majority of Software AG sites and potential TSI customers located in Europe, it seems only natural to have a European presence, especially since there has been a growing interest surrounding our products in countries like Portugal and Spain, which are not currently serviced by our affiliates. As a result, TSI has recently retained the services of a personnel search company in an effort to establish an even stronger presence in Europe.

One of our new hires will serve as the TSI European Sales Manager. In this capacity, this manager will aggressively sell all of our products to sites throughout Europe, and serve as a liaison between customers and our local affiliates. And with TSI personnel located in Europe, we will also be able to enhance our services to our affiliates and customers, by offering sales and marketing support, consulting, and education.

Worldwide Interest in tRelational/DPS

by Steven Koster

In the past few months, there has been growing interest from the foreign market in our ADABAS data migration/propagation toolset, tRelational and DPS. In particular, one of the top developers in the RDBMS market (Oracle) has a customer from Portugal that has taken trials of tRelational and DPS in order to compare them to the time-consuming and resource-intensive manual process. Another site located in Brazil is interested in tRelational and DPS because of the toolset’s ability to keep ADABAS and relational databases in synch during the migration/propagation process. Sites in Japan, Saudi Arabia, Germany, and Spain have also contacted TSI for information on tRelational and DPS, because they have seen the benefits of bringing in this well supported toolset: it saves them time and frees up important resources that can be focused on other critical projects.
