The Management Team



George Szakach, Founder and President

Starting in 1960, George was employed in various business systems software development and management positions. George joined Software AG in 1975. After seven years with SAG, George founded TSI in 1982 and shortly thereafter established its headquarters in Sewickley, PA (near the city of Pittsburgh). “I am proud to have put together a cohesive group of talented, cooperative, and dedicated individuals to make up TSI's staff and its management team”, George says, adding, "The original TSI goal still remains: to be recognized for our quality software products, and excellent support and consulting services. People are constantly surprised when we tell them we are a global company with 700 customers, all high-profile companies plus many government, financial-services and higher-education sites. Furthermore, we have partners like Oracle, IBM, Microsoft, and CA. Our future looks very bright as we continue to grow with additional products, services, and partnerships."



Wayne Lashley

Wayne oversees TSI product development; sales and marketing; technical support, documentation and QA; partner relations; pre- and post-sales service delivery; and corporate technology. Wayne has accumulated more than 22 years of Software AG product experience in a career that began in the late 1970s. Prior to joining Treehouse, Wayne held IT technical and management positions in software development, academic, financial services, government and primary industry sectors. These positions involved responsibility for programming, analysis, testing, standards and quality assurance, documentation, configuration management, emerging technologies, business intelligence systems, database administration, development support, software procurement, product management and service delivery.

Wayne says, “George has entrusted me with the day-to-day responsibilities of running operations at Treehouse. It is a challenge to coordinate all the necessary activities of employees, partners, and marketing representatives, both in core and emerging technologies, yet it is rewarding because we will assuredly continue to build on our success.” Wayne has a Bachelor of Science degree from McGill University, Montreal.

 




Terri Hammerschmitt

Terri has been the Office Manager at TSI since its incorporation days of 1984. Her responsibilities are numerous. In addition to interacting on a daily basis with TSI employees, customers, partners, and marketing representatives, Terri handles accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and human resources. She also provides Executive Secretarial services to the management staff. Terri has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from Carlow University.

 


Peter Brodsgaard

Peter manages sales of TSI products with a special focus on legacy modernization. Peter brings to TSI more than 20 years of experience in enterprise software sales, business development and marketing, having worked with Hewlett Packard, Sterling Software, Sterling Commerce, Centura SW, SOFTWORKS and Maincontrol amongst others.

“I am pleased to be part of such a reputable company, which over the years has built a suite of excellent solutions, resulting in an impressive and loyal global customer base,” says Peter, adding, “As these existing customers, and customers new to TSI, look for modernization options, they will see that we have the experience, know-how and portfolio of solutions and partners to ensure success.” Peter holds a Master in Science degree from the University of Copenhagen.

 


Mitch Doricich

Mitch manages the sales of Core TSI Products and Services to our worldwide customer base. TSI continues to be dedicated to our loyal customer base of SAG base product users. TSI's suite of data transfer and integration products, along with our performance and tuning, auditing, change/management, security and other tools, continue to be enhanced and maintained by our highly-experienced development staff. “We continue to focus on sales of these products, and on providing the best related consulting services, as our customers expect. Our seasoned team of Sales/Technical Representatives in North America ensures our delivery of excellent pre-and post-sales consulting help.” says Mitch.

Prior to joining TSI in 1995, Mitch provided sales and service support as a Senior Client Services Consultant with Global Crossing. Mitch has a Bachelor of Science degree from West Virginia University.



 

Rolf Vollmer

Rolf joined TSI in 2005, and manages all TSI sales and marketing efforts in Europe and nearby, including Israel and the Persian Gulf. He spent 21 of his 30 years in IT at Software AG in various technical roles including pre- and post-sales consulting involving pilots, benchmarks, performance and tuning, SAP interfacing, training, technical support management and more. With his considerable experience in sales and sales management roles in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, Rolf's background and abilities place TSI in an excellent position to capitalize on the important European market for our products and services. Rolf receives technical and sales assistance from other European TSI employees, consultants, and marketing representatives.

Rolf says, “I was happy to find TSI needing someone like me. My expectations were immediately confirmed -- this is a great company with excellent products and nice people.
